A Manly Birthday Bucket !

It's always difficult for me to buy my husband, a birthday gift. He is one of those people that has what he needs in life. So, I thought why not put a gift basket together for him.  I picked a "Car" theme. It's a "Manly Birthday Bucket". 

I added a few car magazines, wash clothes, a sponge, leather wipes, Windex, a car air freshener, beef jerky, mixed nuts and the first season of  "The Dukes of Hazzard" and I put everything in a wash bucket.

How to make this pretty summer wrap!

When we were in Aruba a lot of women wore this scarf like cover up. You could wear them anytime on the beach or just sitting around having drinks.  It's made using a plastic circle that has two openings. You could buy the little plastic circles almost everywhere.  I am sure they will sell them anywhere summer scarfs, or cover ups are sold. Take a look at the plastic cirle at the top of my cover up.

They are so easy.  I just love mine.

Aruba Vacation

We just got back from a wonderful vacation spent in Aruba.  This was the first time that the hubby & I were there.  It was extra fun because my sister and her hubby were there with us.  It was a good thing too, because they were there before, so they showed us around the island. We enjoyed a much needed R & R vacation.  We soaked up the sun and enjoyed the food, drinks, nightly entertainment and best of all we were in the ocean for hours at a time.  The ocean was so crystal clear and blue, just magnificent!  I loved making so many memories and truly enjoyed spending time with Len, Debbie and Chip.  Life is good.
