Fun Flip Flop Cookies!

One of my teachers at my daycare made these fun little cookies. I told her I had to share them here on my blog.   They are perfect for a summer pool or beach party and if you have small children you can get them to ice these fun cookies.  So here it goes..

Nabisco Cameo cookies
Vanilla Icing (use food color to color the icing)
Gummy Worms
Rope licorice

Frost two cookies with the same color icing, for wide straps, snip the rounded ends from a gummy worm, cut in half, and slice each half lengthwise, leaving one end intact.
For thin straps cut rope licorice into four 1 3/4 inch pieces, cut one end of each piece on an angle and pinch together the pointed ends to form two pairs. Press the straps, connected ends first, into the frosting.  Let the cookies set for at least 20 minutes.   You can serve them on a dish towel (to look like a beach towel) and spread on a  beach plate of graham cracker crumbs tp make the plate look like a beach.

How cute......thanks Lindsay for making these !
